I live in Delhi and use the DTC service quite frequently. I've never heard of DTC being called "Daudo to chado" atleast in Delhi. It sounds like something with which it might be known to people from outside Delhi 221.135.244.155 00:03, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Potential to be a better article
[edit]Makes sense to someone new to the topic. However can be developed into a much better article by making it more informative --Aileronajay 05:28, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
Someone wrote... "However, if one compares the DTC to other bus services in South Asia or even the private-operated "Blueline" buses of Delhi, it is in fact the DTC that comes on top, be it in efficiency, punctuality, cleanliness and environmental conciousness."
Give me abreak. DTC buses - clean? Come on, all Delhiites know that they're filthy. Efficient? Punctual? Excuse me, each 1 is delayed by 15 minutes on average. Goodbye User:Upamanyuwiki

Introduction of ticketing using apps (like OneDelhi, Tummoc, Chartr), and refusal of using smart card to buy tickets
[edit]The article does not mention that we can now buy DTC/DIMTS tickets by scanning the QR code in the bus or typing the bus' vehicle registration plate. Also, I haven't been much in DTC or DIMTS bus, but it seems that we can no longer use our smart card (Or the metro cards) to purchase tickets. I searched on web, a user said "The contract for Electronic Ticketing Machine has been terminated so most of the buses don't provide it". Just sharing the information. 103.61.255.233 (talk) 06:02, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
